A digit born from noise

A tiny diffusion model I trained on a CPU: it starts from pure static and denoises it over 200 steps until something digit-shaped appears. Sometimes it comes out sharp, sometimes a ghostly blur — with half a million parameters there are no miracles. Giant image generators do exactly this.
