What I am working on right now

Studies and collaborations

I study artificial intelligence and machine learning in Madrid, and contribute at Cylstat alongside. I build complete projects to learn: reproducible pipelines, inference APIs, drift monitoring and honest evaluation before calling anything done.

Open source

I build a suite of command-line tools for the daily work of ML engineering, published under the jmweb-org organization: dataset diffing, split-leakage detection, evaluation gates, model serving and more.

Study

I keep going deeper into the mathematics behind ML — linear algebra, probability and optimization — and reading papers to keep my judgement sharp.

Reading now

Designing Machine Learning Systems (Chip Huyen), halfway through and underlined everywhere. In the pile: re-reading the calibration chapters of Elements of Statistical Learning, which were over my head the first time.

Latest lesson that changed something

That a PyPI package name and the command name are independent things, and that PyPI rate-limits new project creation. I learned it publishing my tool suite and wrote it up on the blog for the next person who runs into it.
